Reflect on your progress, even the small bits
Think back to where you were when you first began. Progress rarely looks like a neatly edited montage. Sometimes it is simply noticing you kept your cool on the morning commute when you might not have before. Little wins are still wins. You may be more aware of your thoughts and feelings now, or able to spot life's curveballs coming a little earlier than you used to. Progress is often a slow burn beneath the surface rather than fireworks.
- What has been the most helpful part of therapy so far?
- Are there any areas you have been side-stepping in sessions?
- What is next on the list to work on?
- What does moving forward look like for you?
